Leading brand of electrostatic precipitator for commercial kitchen ventilation.
What companies are developing electrostatic precipitator design independently in China?
With the increasing demand for electrostatic precipitator globally, there are more and more manufacturers in China springing up. In order to be more competitive in this developing business society, many suppliers begin to pay more attention to developing their own independent skills in manufacturing the product. Dongguan Ruizhaohe Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. is one of them. Owning independently developed skills means a lot to a company, which can help it to gain its superiority in the business. As a professional supplier, the company has always been focusing on developing its R&D abilities to better improve its competitiveness and develop more advanced and modern products.
RUIHE, RXL now has become a worldwide famous brand in the field of manufacturing Kitchen Electrostatic Precipitator. The Industrial air filter series is widely praised by customers. Ceaseless innovations of our engineers and efficient production ratio guarantee RUIHE, RXL to be the leading exhaust hood supplier. The product can greatly save energy by using power-off protection when the door is opened. esp working principle is highly recommended by Coffee Roaster ESP according to rich experiences. By stacking vertically and horizontally to expand air flow, the product achieves higher removal efficiency.
To be a developed company that produces best island range hood, RUIHE, RXL upholds the idea of seeking for perfection during the production. Get quote!
The most common simplified method for calculating the required airflow (CMH) for a CNC oil mist collector is: Internal Enclosure Volume × Air Changes Per Minute × 60. Measure the effective internal volume (V) of the machining chamber (Length × Width × Height in m³), deducting the volume of major internal components (approx. 10–20%).
Select the air change rate (N) (changes/minute): Light mist/low-pressure coolant: 4–5
Standard cutting fluid: 5–6 (most common)
High-pressure coolant/heavy mist/smoke: 8–10
Calculation:
CMH = V × N × 60
Example: Effective volume 5.25 m³, N=6 → 5.25 × 6 × 60 = 1890 CMH. Add a 20–50% margin (to account for filter clogging and ducting losses). Opening method (for poor sealing):
Opening area (m²) × Capture velocity (0.5–1.0 m/s) × 3600 = CMH. Empirical reference: Small enclosed machine tools: 500–1200 CMH
Standard machining centers: 800–1500 CMH
Large/heavy-duty machines: 1500–2500+ CMH
For actual model selection, it is recommended to provide the machine model, chamber dimensions, and coolant pressure to the manufacturer for confirmation, while also considering ducting resistance and filter pressure drop.
Single-pass and double-pass DR. AIRE commercial kitchen electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) differ mainly in configuration, removal efficiency, and application suitability.In a single-pass ESP, exhaust air passes through one ionizing and collection stage only once. The design is simple and compact, typically achieving 90%–95% grease and particulate removal efficiency under optimal airflow conditions. It is best suited for high-level rooftop discharges or locations with moderate regulatory requirements, offering lower cost and easier installation.In contrast, a double-pass ESP routes air sequentially through two stages in series. This configuration significantly boosts efficiency to 98%–99.9%, minimizing pollutant breakthrough even under heavy grease loads. Double-pass systems are ideal for low-level exhaust, strict environmental regulations, and sensitive urban or mixed-use buildings.While double-pass units incur higher pressure drop, larger space needs, and increased maintenance, they provide superior long-term performance and compliance. Single-pass systems are more economical for standard applications.In summary, single-pass ESPs are preferred for cost-sensitive, less critical installations, whereas double-pass ESPs are recommended when maximum air purification is essential. Selection should consider airflow volume, contaminant load, and local codes.
What is the Efficiency of a Kitchen ESP Filter?
In the bustling environment of a commercial kitchen, managing cooking exhaust is a critical challenge. The Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) has emerged as the industry standard for tackling this issue. But when it comes to evaluating the performance of an ESP filter, what exactly does "efficiency" mean, and what numbers can operators realistically expect?
