How does an auto-wash commercial kitchen electrostatic precipitator (ESP) work?

An auto-wash ESP removes grease, smoke and oil mist from commercial kitchen exhaust, combining proven electrostatic purification with an intelligent automatic cleaning system to sustain stable performance.

Kitchen fume first flows through a metal mesh pre-filter,which intercepts large grease droplets to protect the core electrostatic collector cell.Next,air enters the two-stage electrostatic zone.In the ionization section, high-voltage electrodes generate an electric field,charging tiny oil mist and smoke particles.The charged particles then move to the collector section,where oppositely charged plates attract and trap pollutants.Captured grease gradually accumulates on the plate surface.

What makes the auto-wash version distinctive is its self-maintenance system.Traditional ESPs require manual disassembly and soaking to clear built-up grease.This model runs scheduled cleaning cycles automatically during kitchen off-hours.The system cuts off high voltage safely,then activates high-pressure spray nozzles to flush the collector plates with water or detergent. Washed waste oil and wastewater flow into a drainage tray,eliminating frequent manual labour.

After cleaning,the cell drains and dries automatically before resuming purification.Clean air can pass through optional carbon filters for further odour removal before discharge.
