Precautions for installation of electrostatic air cleaner

The electrostatic air cleaner is mainly used in the purification of low-altitude emissions in the kitchen,but also in restaurants,hotels,schools and other places.Electrostatic air cleaner generally has two installation methods:indoor installation and outdoor installation.Outdoor low-altitude emissions and high-altitude emissions,but low-altitude emissions are generally adopted,because the effect is better than that of high-altitude ones.Here are some suggestions for installing an electrostatic air cleaner.

1. Before installation,you should confirm the reasonable location of the electrostatic air cleaner.

Maintenance space needs to be reserved around the electrostatic air cleaner,and the main door should have a free opening space of more than 90 degrees at a right angle to facilitate future cleaning,maintenance and repair.

2. Select the matching fan air volume.

The air volume selection of the fan is generally equivalent to the processing air volume of the electrostatic air cleaner.When the air volume of the fan meets the requirements of the kitchen,the smaller the air volume,the better the effect of the electrostatic precipitator .The wind speed through the electrostatic air cleaner should preferably be below 6 meters per second.

3. For indoor installation,it is recommended to install the electrostatic air cleaner on the top of the stove.

The installation height has a direct impact on the purification of oil fume,so it is suitable to be about 1 meter away from the stove.There should be fire dampers at the front and back,and two holes should be drilled on the wall along this horizontal line,the distance between them is equal to the distance between the foot holes of the fume purifier.Loosen the two fixing screws on the hangers at both ends of the electrostatic precipitator,and align the square-shaped hanging foot holes with the screws on the wall.Tighten the fixing screws at both ends.

4.Outdoor installation,generally fix the feet of the electrostatic air cleaner.

The ground or floor strength should be sufficient to support the weight of the electrostatic air cleaner.

5.It should be installed at a certain angle.

The oil can flow naturally and smoothly into the oil sump or grease trap to prevent oil from spilling from other places.

6.The electrostatic air cleaner is connected with the exhaust duct through a flange.

All connections must be sealed to prevent oil leakage.

Generally speaking,the electrostatic air cleaner can be installed indoors or outdoors,but pay attention to installing rainproof tools to ensure the service life of the machine.
